We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Team Lead to drive growth, scale partnerships, and lead a high-performing BD team.
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Acceptance Manager / Senior Manager to lead the expansion of our merchant acceptance network. This role is responsible for acquiring new merchants, building strong strategic relationships, and driving transaction growth across our payment ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with deep knowledge of the payments landscape and a passion for building scalable partnerships that increase payment adoption and revenue.

Responsibilities
Grow the Acceptance Network
Identify and onboard high-value merchants and partners to expand payment acceptance.
Develop and execute merchant acquisition strategies across priority sectors.
Build a strong pipeline of strategic merchants.
Drive Revenue & Transactions
Increase payment volumes and transaction frequency across the merchant base.
Develop commercial structures and pricing strategies that maximize revenue.
Monitor merchant performance and identify opportunities to drive growth.
Build Strategic Partnerships
Establish and manage long-term relationships with key merchants and partners.
Lead commercial negotiations and partnership agreements.
Act as the main commercial point of contact for major acceptance partners.
Enable Payment Adoption
Work closely with Product and Technology teams to enable new acceptance solutions.
Support the rollout of new payment features and merchant tools.
Identify innovative payment use cases that enhance customer experience.
Monitor Performance
Track KPIs including merchant acquisition, transaction volume, revenue growth, and merchant activation.
Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities.
Requirements
4–8+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or merchant acquiring.
Proven experience in merchant acquisition, partnerships, and revenue growth.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Solid understanding of card payments, digital wallets, and payment gateways.
Ability to build and manage strategic partnerships.
Rapidly expand the merchant acceptance network.
Build trusted relationships with key partners.
Drive measurable growth in transactions and revenue.
