We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Team Lead to drive growth, scale partnerships, and lead a high-performing BD team.
Role Overview
The Business Development Team Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading the Business Development team to achieve ambitious targets. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership capabilities, and deep understanding of the fintech and payments landscape

Responsibilities
Develop and execute the business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives
Lead, mentor, and manage the Business Development team to achieve annual revenue targets
Set clear KPIs, monitor team performance, and drive accountability
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fintech and payments landscape
Build and maintain strong, long-term client and partner relationships
Lead negotiations and close complex, high-value deals
Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
Collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Finance, Legal, Operations) to structure and execute partnerships
Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and industry engagements
Continuously assess market trends and competitor activity to refine growth strategy
Requirements
5–7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships
Minimum 1–2 years of team leadership experience
Strong understanding of fintech, payments, and acceptance ecosystem (preferred)
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
